Saturday Night BBQ
After recovering from Friday nights rehearsal dinner, I spent Saturday pampering myself. I got my eyebrows threaded, visited Judith (many of you know what she does), and got my mani/pedi. After running around town to make myself beautiful, it was time to get ready for another party. I decided to go au natural with my nails...except for 3. Of course, I broke a few nails the week of the wedding and had to get a few acrylic ones :( Hot look, huh?
I have a lot of out of town family members so they were not all invited to our rehearsal dinner. Therefore, my mom felt the need to host a get-together that everyone where everyone was welcome (children included). It ended up being close to 70 people but it was great! A nice way to talk to everyone that would be at the wedding just in case we don't have time to chat during the reception.Check out these adorable pretzels that my mom got from Gus' Pretzels. SERIOUSLY, adorable!!!
Check out the crowd!
My brother turned 21 on our wedding day and my mom got him a cake with beer candles.
We ate bar-b-que, mingled, watched the video slideshow again, and suddenly it was time to go back to the hotel and get beauty sleep for my wedding day! It was kinda strange saying goodbye to Mike that night! I just couldn't get over the fact that we were getting married the next day. We finally said goodbye and I retreated to the hotel with my sister and Bina, where we were meeting my other bridesmaids that attended the Mizzou/Illinois game. We stayed up too later and honestly, I probably didn't sleep for more than a couple of hours. And that brings us to our wedding day!!!Thanks again, Mom and Dad! I love you!
