I am off to Jacksonville, Florida for the weekend! This will be me tomorrow..
I hope that everyone has a great weekend! I will be back on Sunday!!!
Mike and I woke up early Sunday morning to shop for furniture. We need living room furniture, outside furniture, and then furniture for our sunroom. Sadly, we didn't get any furniture...BUT...we did buy our washer, dryer, and microwave from Home Depot. WOO HOO! I got to take about a 30 minute nap until we prepared for wedding #2, Arin and Josh. It was the first Jewish wedding that I have ever been to...which is really strange, considering that I am having one! It was beautiful...amazing! The ceremony and reception were both at the Ritz and it was so nice and HUGE!!! Beautiful chuppah... Romantic decor...
She looked amazing...beautiful and elegant

Check out the table...it was incredible!
We had a blast, dancing the night away. They had a really interesting timeline.
Cocktails from 7-8
Everyone Dancing from 8-9
SaladsToasts/CakeCutting/Dances 9-10
Dinner 10:30ish
Dancing 11:00-1:30
It was crazy....I didn't even get into the car until 2ish. Although it seemed strange to eat so late, we were in party mode the whole time. I can't even believe that the reception went to late! It really was cool! CONGRATS, ARIN AND JOSH...it was so beautiful and we had a wonderful time!
I have survived the weekend! I can't believe that it is over...it felt like it was going to be so so far away. Friday night, I went to a rehearsal and then dinner at Harry's. It was so amazing...cocktails outside and then dinner inside. TOO MUCH FOOD!!! Beef tenderloin medallions...yummm. I really never eat or order red meat but for some reason, I just went for it!!! Shari looked beautiful and it was so much fun!
Saturday, we woke up in the Hyatt and started getting hair and makeup done. It really was a great time and Shari looked so beautifulThis wedding was really hitting home since mine is less than 100 days away! Being on the "inside" of this wedding made me notice a lot more of the little things and details. It actually started freaking me out a little bit! Shari did a wonderful job staying calm...she really amazed me! After we got ready, we drove around St. Louis in a trolley and it was a great time!
The ceremony was great...Shrine of St. Joseph is a beautiful church!!! I get so nervous walking down the aisle. I am very happy that I had this opportunity to try it again. I swear, I thought that I was going to faint in my friend, Allison's, wedding a couple of years ago. I was praying that I wouldn't feel that way again but since it was a Catholic ceremony, we were able to sit through most of it! No fainting for me! After more pictures, we headed back to the Hyatt for dinner and guess what we ate! MORE BEEF! Again, it was delicious!!! I got to see Mike again after the long and crazy day!
I love this one of us busting a move!!! Seriously, what song are we singing???
After the long day, we were exhausted and knew that we would need to get ready for weekend wedding #2!!! Congrats, Shari and Kyle...it really was a beautiful day!
Tomorrow (Friday)- Last day of school!!! WOO HOO! Rush home after school, change, get to the church for Shari's rehearsal at 5. Dinner at Harry's downtown at 6. Yum. Sleep at the Hyatt at Union Station.
Saturday- Wake up super early and get hair/makeup done. Get on a trolley and drive around St. Louis. Shari and Kyle get married! Take pictures and then go to the hotel for the reception and PARTYYYYY.
Sunday- Sleep in. Take apart Mike's bed. Get dressed and head to the Ritz for Arin and Josh's wedding. Party Party Party...so so excited!!!
Monday- Semi-sleep in! MOVING DAY! BIRTHDAY! WOOT WOOT! Go out to dinner?! Relax? Sleep maybe?!
This is going to be crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.....
So, I haven't been working on the wedding lately! The house has taken over my life (along with cheerleading, school, and masters). BUT...this weekend, we did get to go pick up our wedding bands. Very exciting!!! BLING BLING!I love it! Can't wait to have both of those bad boys on my finger! Here is an example of Mike playing photographer...
At first, I wasn't crazy about Mike's ring. It is titanium and has a satin finish. He loves it so then I love it!
Also, I changed my mind about my bouquet inspiration. Here is what I wanted at first...
But now I love this! The problem is, peonies aren't really available in August. Hummm...
I still don't know what to do with my bouquet. I keep going back and forth between doing all white or a bigger version of the bridesmaids'. What do you think???
So, where did I leave off? Ali's graduation.
So proud of her! Her graduation actually wasn't that bad to sit through. Senator Claire McCaskill spoke and she was wonderful. Really funny for a politician...she talked about her late nights at Harpo's and even put in a jab against KU (Mike's alma mater).
After graduation, we had a wonderful meal at the Les Bourgeois winery. I have been to this winery a million times but I have NEVER been to the restaurant. After we ate, we were treated by an amazing sunset. Check out these pictures...This next picture really is my favorite. From left to right: Ali's adorable boyfriend, Kyle...Mike...my dad....my brother, Andrew. This wasn't even staged (except for my brother). The three of them were just standing like that and I had to tell Andrew to get his tush over there because it looked like a boyband CD cover or something!!!
Up next...a night on the town! Those Mizzou folks...did you know that Shiloh moved? They took over The Colosseum restaurant and it was actually pretty cool. It was crazy getting kicked out of the bar at 1:00 with no other bars to go to! BUT...there was somewhere to go...GUMBYS!!! It was my only request...pokey sticks. And they were delish.
The next day, "we" went golfing! By "we," I mean Mike and Kyle. Ali and I hit a few...but it was not pretty. Instead, we decided to pose. Please note the color of our legs. UM...someone needs to go tanning!!! Good thing I will be in Florida in a week!!!Ew ew ew...I think that I need to end on that picture. EW.
and here is an example why. We laugh together...all of the time. I stole this picture from Kate's facebook album. I just think it is so "us." Completely candid, and not sober...but so "us."
I am exhausted, need to get to sleep, but I have SO much to say! I haven't blogged in a while...I have been feeling crazy lately. I know that after this week, my life will have changed so so much and I just can't wait.
Mike and I had our "walk-through" at our new home today. We sign the papers on Wednesday and I couldn't be more excited. Here are a couple pictures I took today:)Seriously, I can't believe that we will be in the house next Monday! WOW!
Anyways, I had such a fun weekend. We celebrated my birthday this weekend with a fabulous night out on the town. My birthday isn't until next Monday (Memorial Day) but since this is such a crazy weekend, we decided to celebrate early. We started the night with dinner and drinks at Bar Louie in the Central West End.Then, we hit up Mandarin next door for Orlando Pace's party...don't ask...I don't even know if he was there?!?! Then, we went to one of our favorite bars. RBar. I don't care if people get killed around the area...I still love it!!! We had a wonderful time and shook it all night. I have been there TONS of times but didn't know that Fridays were 80s dance party nights!!! Love this pic of Mike and the girls breaking it down...
Can you tell that we were having fun??
Then, we were off the next morning to CoMo. First of all, so so so surreal watching my little sister graduate. I was so happy for her and can't wait for her to move home next week!
Oh my goodness... I am so tired. I have to stop blogging! I have more pictures and things to share but I HAVE to go to bed. Today was field day at school and I am just pooped!!! More to come tomorrow!!!
and really, it is starting to get to me. Last night, I had a mini-anxiety attack! I have one about every 4-6 months...nothing too major...just start to freak out a little and get way emotional. Last night as I lay in bed, I just could not fall asleep. I ended up calling my mom at 11:30 pm (1 hour and 30 minutes past my bedtime) to calm me down. I have 1 week of school left and SO MUCH to do! I have to get my report cards done sometime and it is obviously not going to be this weekend. Then, my thoughts went to my wedding shoes...still don't have any. Then started the house freak-outs. Oye!
Anyways, tonight driving home, I decided to let myself just get more emotional. I popped in Marc Broussard's CD and just let the tears flow. SERIOUSLY...he is so amazing, his songs are fantastic, his voice incredible, AND Mike and I got engaged at his concert. He sings "our song" (The Beauty of Who You Are) and Mike had contacted him to play it at the concert and call us onstage. Here is what happened...
I was so embarrassed afterwards about what I said...although you can't hear a thing!!! I said something along the lines of "did anyone take a picture?!?!" I was so excited and I am such a "picture person" and all I could think of was how amazing this moment was and NONE of our friends or family was there! But now, it is so cute...I was so excited! Honestly, the best night ever...and enough to get my crying whenever I listen to the song!
Oh...and seriously, you should look up Marc Broussard. Those of you that really know me...you KNOW that I LOVE Kelly Clarkson. And....Kelly loves Marc! When I went to Kelly's concert 2 years ago, she sang Marc's song, Home. Here is a video that I found of that on YouTube (my new obsession tonight, if you can't tell).
AHHHHHH...I need so sleep (any maybe some anti-anxiety drugs)!!!
Seriously, all day I thought that it was Thursday! I am so so so ready for school to be out and the summer to be here. I feel like I have so much to do and I can't wait to get started!
On Saturday, my family is going up to go ol' CoMO (Columbia, Missouri) for my sister's graduation. I seriously can't believe that she is already graduating, about to enter the real world, and coming back to St. Louis (YAY!!!). Can't wait to go and visit this weekend and of course, go out on Saturday night. Mike usually isn't invited to CoMo with me (he went to kU...ew). Homecoming is usually a girls weekend and I think that he has only been up there with me once (for Ali's 21st birthday). Columbia doesn't really bring out the pretty side of me so it is probably better that we don't go together. However, this whole marriage thing might mean that Mike might want to start coming to homecoming weekend. Probably not...we will see! Anyways, he is coming up this weekend and it will just be us and the college kids:) WOO HOO! Congrats Ali! So excited for you and can't wait to see you soon! LOVE YOU!

I forgot to give you all closure on the mustaches. Here are just a few pictures and then I will move on from the mustaches FOREVER!!!
Mike and his brothers (and our groomsmen...Danny and Chris)

AND WITH THAT....I AM DONE WITH THE MUSTACHES! Just time to move on!!! I have a feeling with 111 day until my wedding, 10 days until we close on our house, and 11 days until the last day of school, I will have a lot of new and exciting things to blog about!!!
Anyone that truly knows me, knows that I love musicals. Musicals on stage, movie musicals, anything musical. My dream would be to be on Broadway...hell, I would settle for the Muny. Who am I kidding? I would settle for anything!
Sooo...when I saw this video, I almost died. I loved it...and I cried. So many of you are going to watch this, hate it, maybe throw-up in your mouth. I am such a dork.
I haven't blogged in a while. I have been so crazy busy lately...I don't know what has happened suddenly. I have 12 more school days and we close on the 22nd. I think yesterday I realized something....I am getting married soon! And I haven't planned anything or done anything for it in 4 months. I am getting scared...feeling overwhelmed! I made a list today for the wedding, then made one for my life, then made one for cheerleading, and then for the week. I literally have 4 lists in my planner right now and nothing is getting crossed off.
The mustache men are back from Memphis. They had so, so much fun. The pictures are hideous...maybe too horrible to share. But they had a blast! It just so happens that my aunt was celebrating her 50th birthday with her girlfriends down in Memphis last weekend. And guess who they ran into...oh yeah! The gang of mustaches. She said that she didn't even recognize him. Wonder why?!? But the mustache is gone and I am happy so now we take another step toward the big day. Right now though, my focus is on the end of school and move in day. Hopefully I can get my rear in gear soon!!!
(Back story on the last picture. At work, they found a picture of their boss from the '80s. Mike photoshopped this lovely picture of the 4 "wannabes" below, praising their boss above. They actually all showed up to work like this today!!! I love how much fun they are having with this...)
Mustaches have taken over my life and my blog so now I am going to write about ME!
First of all, I wanted to let everyone know how ecstatic I am about it being May 1st! May is my favorite month because it is my birthday month (May 26th to be exact...Memorial Day). But this year, May is even more exciting. Within the span of 5 days, so much will happen. Mike and I close on our house on the 22nd. On the 23rd, I will say goodbye to my students and hello to summer vacation! (By the way, it will be my first summer since I was 15 that I will not work...and I am SO excited.) On the 23rd, I will also attend my friend's rehearsal dinner...at Harry's...YUM! On the 24th, I will be a bridesmaid in Shari's wedding and I can't wait! This will be my second time as a bridesmaid and I am really looking forward to it. (My final walk down the aisle before the BIG one.) Here is a picture of us at her shower! On the 25th, I will be attending my high school friend's wonderful wedding at the Ritz. This wedding is finally happening after the couple has dated for 8 or 9 years! It is seriously going to be like a high school reunion and I am pumped! The 26th is my birthday, Memorial Day, and MOVING DAY! We will be moving Mike into our house (and probably a lot of my crap). I am not moving in until around wedding time! Bottom line, this is going to be a CRAZY time for me...very emotional, exhausting, but exciting! After all of that, I think that I deserve a vacation...so I am going to Florida to visit my friend, Beth, with the girls! YAY FOR MAY!
And...I know that you want them....I have mustache pictures. Coming soon...
