Wedding Details
So, I haven't been working on the wedding lately! The house has taken over my life (along with cheerleading, school, and masters). BUT...this weekend, we did get to go pick up our wedding bands. Very exciting!!! BLING BLING!
I love it! Can't wait to have both of those bad boys on my finger! Here is an example of Mike playing photographer...
At first, I wasn't crazy about Mike's ring. It is titanium and has a satin finish. He loves it so then I love it!
Also, I changed my mind about my bouquet inspiration. Here is what I wanted at first...
But now I love this! The problem is, peonies aren't really available in August. Hummm...
I still don't know what to do with my bouquet. I keep going back and forth between doing all white or a bigger version of the bridesmaids'. What do you think???
Go with some color in the bouquet. The all white against your dress will disappear in photographs :)

I also love the second bouquet you posted. I'm a little biased since I had dark pink peonies in mine. I prefer a version of the bridesmaids' flowers for the bride. I like all of the color against the dress. That is just me though! :)

I love the peonias too and was a bit disappointed to learn I can't have them either... oh well. I would vote for some color in your bouquet. I'm sure you've searched the knot but I think they have a pretty good variety of flower pictures.
I was hoping for peonies in my bouquet too, and our florist suggested garden roses instead. She's going to treat them somehow so that they'll open up and be all "fluffy" like peonies...so you might want to give that a shot!

i am a bit biased since my bouquet was all peonies so i looove the 2nd pic. rich west suggested to me if the peonies died he can do something with carnations to mimic a peony...not sure what it would look like....yay for pink and green!!!
