Whatcha watchin?

Thanks to DVR, I am able to watch so many more shows. I usually am able to catch up on the entire week on the weekends. Here are my favorite shows that are currently set on my DVR (and I know...it's too much...)

So You Think You Can Dance- Love this show. Always have. I remember watching it in 2006, in my old apartment, on Bina's bed, screaming about how much we LOVED these dancers. This season, I think the best dancer is Jakob Karr. This kid is AMAZING! The judges keep saying that this is supposed to be the best season. I don't think so. Last season was SO much better. These kids have some work to do!

Modern Family- This show is pretty darn funny. My friends at work were talking about it so I set my DVR to record it. It is a fun show to watch as a couple because Mike doesn't like a lot of the shows that I watch.Biggest Loser- Honestly, I am not a big fan of any of the people left. BUT, I love this show!!! I wanted Abby or Rebecca to win. Hopefully they keep losing at home!Dancing With the Stars- I am probably the only person under 50 that is watching but I am. Loving Maya...she is great!Dexter- OH. MY. GOODNESS. I love this show. It is amazing. Can't say anymore.Brothers and Sisters- Does anyone else watch this show? First of all, so happy that Balthazar Getty is off the show. I had had enough of his womanizing ways in his real life and his character was just annoying. I am really loving this season. Can't wait to see what Justin and Rebecca decided to do with their little surprise brewing.Nip/Tuck- Can't believe I am still watching this. BUT...I'm not watching the trash that a lot of my friends are (Housewives of OC/Jersey/Atlanta/etc) so I allow this to be my trash.Glee- Makes me so so happy. As a self-proclaimed show choir dork, this is the best thing that has happened to me on TV.Ellen and Oprah- My DVR is set to record these ladies every day. Honestly, I don't watch every Ellen (it just depends on the guests of the day) but I watch every single Oprah. With only 1 year left of Ms. O, you better believe that I will enjoy ever last minute of Your Highness. I know, I know...that is a lot of TV. I am always shocked when I meet people that don't want ANY TV. Obviously, I love TV. Now that we have DVR, the amount of shows that I can watch has definitely increased.

What are you watching? Are there any other shows out there that I should record? Off to watch SYTYCD, Dancing with the Stars, and Biggest Loser (they are all recording right now!).

Lovin' the Bachelorette!

Miss Jillian is so stinkin' cute. Love her personality and LOVE her hair and clothes! I really don't know why she has a beach ball here though?!Here are some of my favorites...I think Ed is great...super cute and really nice. Stephanie lives in Chicago and knows the girl that he is dating back home. Jerk! Apparently, they never broke up when he went to be on the show. I might be more upset than Jillian.

I think Jake is such a stud and he is a pilot. I loved their date when they danced to Martina McBride. So cool! I hope that he is around for a while!

Kiptyn hasn't gotten much TV time or time with Jillian but I think he is just adorable.

Who do I hate?David = Meat Head

Juan= Annoying. AND he looks like David Arquette.

Tanner= Complete weirdo. Possibly gay. Strange foot fetish.

Wes= Stop with the country music concerts. Not into it.

I am not sure who she eliminates yet but I hope none of my favorites go!

What has happened to America?

Lil Kim is gone and Ty is still on? Seriously, people?!?AND...to make matters worse...Allison is off and Danny is on. Uck!At least my boyfriend is still on. I love you, Kris.What has happened to America this week? Come on people!!!

Although I am getting sad that these two of my favorite reality shows are coming to an end, I am excited that two more will be replacing them. WOO HOO! (Man, I watch too much TV! This DVR is killing me!)

Um...on an un-reality based TV show, did anyone watch Grey's? I was bawling like a baby. BAWLING. As Oprah says, "the ugly cry".

Oh, how I love this show!

The Biggest Loser is such a great show! Even if you haven't watched all season, watch next week! The finales are always the best and it will be on next Tuesday.

Last year, I knew that Ali would be the winner. AMAZING!This year, I am going back in forth on who I think will win. I hope that Tara wins. I always am rooting for the girl that Jillian has trained the whole time. (Two seasons ago it was Ali and last season it was Michelle...they both won.) Tara has already lost so much weight and she looks amazing!However, I think that Mike may give her a run for her money. He has so much more weight to lose and I think he is going to do it. Love Connections on Dancing with the Stars

I have to admit that I love this show! Seriously, I love it!

Does anyone think that there is a little bit of something romantic going on with Shawn and her partner, Mark? I do, I do! She is only 17 though so I think they are keeping it hush hush!My other favorite dancing duo is Melissa and Tony! If he wasn't married, I would think that they love each other too!For some reason, I think that Lil Kim wants to go all cougar on Derek's a$$!Is Gilles married? If not, he really should date Cheryl. They are super hot together!!!I don't know why I am infatuated with these people dating (or just hooking up) in real life, but I definitely am! Does anyone else watch DWTS this year?

I love American Idol

Seriously, I love it. I don't know if I would say that it is my favorite show but this is definitely my favorite season in a while. Here are some of my favorites...and not so favorites.

Let's start with the good!
I am developing major crushes on a couple of the fellas. Each week, I fall more and more in love with these two gentlemen...Oh baby! These two have been pretty sexy lately. I love their arrangements of great songs. Especially Kris...love him!!!

My two favorites of the competition though are the following singers...I picked these two very early on as my favorites. I LOVE Allison's voice and Danny is just plain good! His story makes me so sad and I cried a little bit when he sang this week.

I know that I am in the minority right now, but I can't stand this guy...The emo look is just too much for me and I can't stand his screaming and screeching. I don't think he is a terrible singer but he just drives me crazy. Seriously, his sexual movements bother me...he stokes the mic stand and it is just too bizarre for me. He is very over-indulgent in my eyes but I have a feeling that he will be around in this competition for a long time :(

How is Scott still in this competition? Do people feel sorry for him because he is blind? HE ISN'T A GOOD SINGER, PEOPLE!!! Uck...just go home!Thank you, Lady GaGa for singing my favorite song (and Mike's)! I love them actual famous people come on the show and sing worse than the contestants.

Did you know that I actually tried out of American Idol? Not one of my finer moments. I sang the song that Lil' Rounds sang last night and I think I did it better than she did. (Stevie, Ali...what do you think?)

End of story. I hate Jason. I knew what was going to happen and I am still pissed about it.
Just a few points:
#1. Why did he propose to Melissa?
#2. Why did Molly take him back? Is she an idiot?
#3. Molly is so much better without him.
#4. I wonder what his poor child will think about this?
#5. I doubt that he and Molly hadn't seen each other until last nights show.

I knew it!***Grey's Spoiler***

More than a month ago, I guessed that Izzy was seeing Denny because she was sick. I guessed brain tumor because I read somewhere that they were killing of a main character.Now, my prediction was not completely confirmed tonight but we are definitely headed in that direction.

I hope I am right :) I looked up my prediction online and found this. We will see if it unfolds the way I guessed.

Fashion Dos and Don'ts...according to me

As mentioned before, I love watching the Golden Globes and especially the dresses! Eva Longoria was amazing!

Here are my other favs...

Kate Winslet looked beautiful last night and I loved her speeches. She just really seems like a nice person...AND, she was sitting next to my boyfriend (Leo) last night! Her dress, hair, and makeup were perfect.Eva Mendes. Amazing. She just glows and the white looked stunning on her. Also, the necklace...wow. Drew Barrymore- Loved the dress and HATED the hair. Seriously hated her hair. I don't even know who this girl is but I loved her dress. The color was great and in an interview before the show, she said that the earrings were custom-made for the dress. Now for the looks that I wasn't fond of...

Angelina Jolie wasn't terrible but I wasn't in love either. I am a big Angie fan and she is ridiculously gorgeous...I just wasn't crazy for the dress.In my opinion, she looked more put together last week at The Critic's Choice Awards. I am starting to notice that I like updos more than all down. Hum.

Anne Hathaway- I usually like her style but not tonight. Too pale. Too skinny. Really though, I think that she has lost a lot of weight recently and she looks better with a little more meat on her bones. JLo looked like she was trying too hard. She was on a lot of best dressed lists but I didn't like it and I don't think that it was flattering. Renee, WTF were you thinking? No. no. no.Just my thoughts. Feel free to agree or disagree...or not care :)
