I want these, please!

The current rain/snow shower is getting me thinking of a perfect pair of Hunter boots. I am leaning toward the red pair (my favorite color)...But I am also loving this dark purple color...With so many colors to choose from, I'm not really sure which one to pick!Endless.com can get them here by Monday. Hummm...what to do????

EDIT: I just found out that Target has a pair of red knock-offs for only $20. These definitely beat the Hunter's $115 price tag. Do I need the real things?

Boots, Boots, Boots

Well, folks, it is true. I am something that I thought I would never become. I am a skinny-jean, legging, and tights-wearing kind of girl. I just got THE BEST skinny jeans ever (thanks for the rec Maggie) and can't wait to tuck them into my new boots that I will be getting for Christmas!

I have asked Mike to get me another pair of my favorite boots. Steve Madden Intyce in brown. I have large calves and these babies fit perfectly! I already have them in brown so it is now time to get the brown. They really are the perfect boot!I am also wanting a pair of Ugg boots. I know...I am jumping on the Ugg bandwagon like, what? 4 years late? I know I know. I can't decided between Sand or Chestnut. What do you think? I wanted a color that I could wear with black or brown outfits...
Finally, I asked my mom for these gray Target boots. Honestly, I want the ones from last year more but I can't find them on Amazon or Ebay :( They are called Mossimo Kinsey and I love them.Alrighty...I am off to the mall to start and hopefully finish most of my holiday shopping.

Mini shopping spree

Yesterday, I decided to treat myself with some new summer clothes. Here is what I picked up...

This adorable dress fits perfectly and it great for summer. It is so so comfy and I can't wait to wear it! I picked up a couple of "work" shirts from Learner NY. They had a lot of cute stuff in there! Of course, I got the shirt in 2 colors!Finally, I strolled into the new Forever 21 store and I have to say...it is awesome! I haven't shopped at Forever 21 in years! I am not one that likes to search through racks...therefore, I don't shop at Marshall/TJ Maxx and stores like that. I just don't have the patience. The old Forever 21 store was like that and it was ALWAYS hot in there. However, the new store is amazing and I actually found some cute things! I want to go back!I don't know it is a dress or shirt but I think it will look great over a pair of skinny jeans. The material is so soft. It also came in white with black embroidery.Cute tank. Just different than anything I have!I think this just might be the cutest dress ever made. It is a little bit short but I LOVE IT! The best part? Only $28. You just can't beat it!

Frison Flea Market

On Saturday, Mike and I headed downtown to check out the Frison Flea Market to check out their selection of faux purses.

Let this be said...I am not one that needs expensive things. I have never been interested in having a nice car. I do not own one piece of high-end jewelry (other than my wedding ring), and I am just not one to spend a huge amount of money on clothes, shoes, or purses. I appreciate all of these things, and I lust after all of them...BUT, I can never get myself to spend the big bucks on them.

Lately, I have been wanting a new black purse. I have been carrying the same, old Limited black purse for years and it is time for a change. Most of my friends have beautiful Coach purses and I have been thinking of splurging lately. However, when I stepped into the Frison Flea Market, everything changed. Imagine hundreds of people and thousands of purses, wallets, shoes, and other random junk.

OK...on to my purchases...
My black "Coach" purse and matching wallet...I also picked up a "Dolce and Gabbana" purse and wallet (not because they are good knock-off but just because I thought the purse was cute!).Again, I don't claim that they are real and I don't care that they are fake. They are cute, new, and I got them all for under $90 total!

I love shoes!

Seriously, look at the 6 (yes 6) pairs of shoes I bought last weekend!Mike and I hit up the Mills Mall last weekend. I love to go there every once and a white to hit up the Banana, Gap, and Nine West outlet stores. The Old Navy store there isn't an outlet but come on...their prices are so great, they don't need an outlet!

I love getting sandals from Old Navy. These shoes were only $12.50 each!Then I popped over to Nine West and this is where the problem began. They had a buy one, get one 50% off sale. I knew that I needed a new pair of black pumps (they ended up being $27 because they were half off!) I always get their Freda pumps and I love them! I also needed a new pair of wedge sandals for summer and saw these little cuties!Finally, their boots were on sale. I saw a cute suede, flat boot that was on sale for $40! Of course, there was only 1 pair in a size 5. So I ordered the brown and black in my size and they shipped them from other stores for free! Now I need to decide which color to keep...or maybe both?!
That is it...I love shoes.

Fashion Dos and Don'ts...according to me

As mentioned before, I love watching the Golden Globes and especially the dresses! Eva Longoria was amazing!

Here are my other favs...

Kate Winslet looked beautiful last night and I loved her speeches. She just really seems like a nice person...AND, she was sitting next to my boyfriend (Leo) last night! Her dress, hair, and makeup were perfect.Eva Mendes. Amazing. She just glows and the white looked stunning on her. Also, the necklace...wow. Drew Barrymore- Loved the dress and HATED the hair. Seriously hated her hair. I don't even know who this girl is but I loved her dress. The color was great and in an interview before the show, she said that the earrings were custom-made for the dress. Now for the looks that I wasn't fond of...

Angelina Jolie wasn't terrible but I wasn't in love either. I am a big Angie fan and she is ridiculously gorgeous...I just wasn't crazy for the dress.In my opinion, she looked more put together last week at The Critic's Choice Awards. I am starting to notice that I like updos more than all down. Hum.

Anne Hathaway- I usually like her style but not tonight. Too pale. Too skinny. Really though, I think that she has lost a lot of weight recently and she looks better with a little more meat on her bones. JLo looked like she was trying too hard. She was on a lot of best dressed lists but I didn't like it and I don't think that it was flattering. Renee, WTF were you thinking? No. no. no.Just my thoughts. Feel free to agree or disagree...or not care :)

Skinny Jean Help

I got a pair of skinny jeans for Christmas but I am not sure if they fit right. I think they are too long. With heels, they bunch around my ankles and go over my shoes and can touch the ground. When tucked in boots, they bunch around my knees. I am not sure if they are too big or just too short.

What length should skinny jeans be? Should they do to the floor and cover your jeans or hit you at the ankle so you look like you are flooding? Here are a couple picture of the jeans I have...Top picture they aren't baggy around her ankle but in the bottom they are. I am just not sure and since this is my first pair, I want to make sure they look right. Thanks :)
