I got a pair of skinny jeans for Christmas but I am not sure if they fit right. I think they are too long. With heels, they bunch around my ankles and go over my shoes and can touch the ground. When tucked in boots, they bunch around my knees. I am not sure if they are too big or just too short.
What length should skinny jeans be? Should they do to the floor and cover your jeans or hit you at the ankle so you look like you are flooding? Here are a couple picture of the jeans I have...
Top picture they aren't baggy around her ankle but in the bottom they are. I am just not sure and since this is my first pair, I want to make sure they look right. Thanks :)
It isnt really about how you wear them, but how you feel in them. So if you don't feel good just take them back!
Mine are a little long. They bunch at my ankles, but they don't go over my shoes or touch the ground. And they don't really bunch at my knees when I'm wearing boots. Maybe they do a little, but not much. Maybe you need a short instead of a regular?
I'd go with shorter. I definitely don't think they should be able to hit the ground, but a little bunching around the ankle would probably be okay. Mine are shorts. Usually shorts are just a little too short for me at 5'4" but I think in skinny jeans it works because you don't want them touching the ground. I don't have to worry about much extra material stuffed in my boots which is when I wear them most often. Do you think you'll be wearing them most often with heels or boots?
i honestly don't know what to tell you... i've been looking for a decent pair of skinny jeans for myself and have yet to find something for months. but i think if you don't feel comfortable in them and they seem too long, you might want to find a pair with shorter legs? hmm.
