The Jewel Box
When Mike and I visited the Jewel Box right after we were engaged, we knew we would get married there. I know I am biased, but I think it is the most beautiful place in St. Louis for a wedding. Like I said, I am biased.
We pulled up to the Jewel Box and immediately went to the infamous "back room" for our kettubah ceremony. The kettubah is a Jewish wedding contract and it was so great to be surrounded by our friends and family when we signed it.
Before the ceremony, the Jewel Box was a whirl-wind. It was a little stressful...so many cooks in the kitchen and one nervous/excited bride. At first I was stressed out about my flowers (they didn't look exactly how I pictured them) but after a couple minutes with them...I WAS OBSESSED! The bouquets were beautiful and I just couldn't wait to walk down the aisle and see the chuppah (and of course my hubby). I knew it would be a beautiful view...especially with this waiting for me at the end of the aisle...Thankfully, I have so many wonderful friends and family that were snapping pictures all through the ceremony. It was all such a blur, it is so amazing to have these pictures to look at (especially since our professional pictures will be awhile). Everyone looked so great walking down the aisle...
My mom and brother, AndrewTess and Adam
Bina and Mike
Leslie and Nick
Allison and Mike's brother, Danny
Kate and Mike's brother, Chris
My sister, Ali and Chris
I heard the music change and I knew it was time. One last hug from my dad and we were off...
What an overwhelming feeling it is to have everyone standing up for you, all eyes on you. An overwhelming feeling to see such a beautiful room, beautiful colors, beautiful flowers, beautiful music.
An overwhelming feeling to have people talking to you as you walk down the aisle but all you can do it stare into the eyes of one person.
It was such a beautiful ceremony. My rabbi did a wonderful job! These pictures completely sum up how Mike and I looked for majority of the ceremony. He was either sweating or crying and I was literally beaming the entire time.

The ceremony flew by but here are some of my favorite pictures...

With one stomp of the foot, it was official! We were finally Mr. and Mrs.!!! YAY!

Up next...picture time in Forest Park :)
