I'm back!

Hello, my faithful blog readers! Sorry to abandon you lately. I don't really know what I have been busy doing but I feel like I have been crazy. Let me catch you up quickly...
-We are still working on decorating the house. Tonight, Mike wants to hang pictures and shelves and my job is to clean, clean, clean. We are having a housewarming party (finally) at our new (kind of) home.
-I have gained 7 pounds since the wedding. At first, I thought it was funny saying, "Haha, I gained 5 pounds on the honeymoon." It was funny then, but it isn't now. I am in my best friend's wedding (I love that movie) in a month from today and I would like to drop at least 3 of those 7 lbs. I need to get back to schedule and stop the post-wedding binge.
-We went to our friend's cabin this past weekend. Her family has a cabin by Hermann and we spent some time at the wineries and then hours around the fire. I have never shot a gun so I had to jump at the chance. I was a little stressed out by 6 guys giving me directions at once and I got a little scared (see picture below...)But after it was all loaded up, I was ready to go. (Sorry my eyes are shut in this picture. I guess I will still a little nervous!)Bina got to try too! Nothing like a girl in a halter top with a gun. I shouldn't talk...I was wearing a dress... I made a Sarah Palin joke but only Bina laughed. Mike said that he wanted to laugh but he kept it in. Wrong crowd, I guess (I should have known....I was holding a gun!!!)?!!?-We still don't have our Crate and Barrel hutch and buffet. Remember this? Apparently "it is in" now and should be to us by Friday. But they don't want to get out hopes up because it could be damaged. WTF?!
-I am getting my hair trimmed tomorrow. I want to chop it SO bad but I am going to keep it long for Leslie's wedding. We are just going to cut all of the dead ends off. Seriously, it is pretty gross (see picture from this weekend at the winery)and you can see that hubby needs a haircut too! He might shave it...ahhhh! I don't know if I have shown what happened last time...EEK! Don't do it babe!!! Haha..he is going to kill me for that! BUT...look at my cute hair. Maybe I will do that again this spring :)
-We finally finished our thank you notes. It was such a great accomplishment!
-Hummm...what else?! I think that is pretty good for now! Enjoy watching the debates tonight!
