Housewarming Party (before/after pics)
I have quickly realized that the best way to get your house clean is to throw a party! We cleaned like crazy for Leslie's shower a couple weeks ago and did it all again this weekend!
I have to say that Mike has worked SO so hard around the house lately. He has been putting together furniture, putting things up on the wall, and organizing and decorating. We got so many compliments on the house tonight and it is truly because of him!
On to the pictures! When we first moved in, our house looked like this.

Mike surprised me with the pictures frames and shelf the other night. He made the frames from scratch (bought the metal, matting, glass) and put it all together. I love them!
I also cleaned up our guest bedroom. When we moved in it looked like this...

OUR NEW HUTCH! Mike picked it up yesterday and assembled it! It is beautiful. Here is a picture of it in all of its glory!
We were filling it an hour before the party so we aren't really sure with what will stay and what will go! (Obviously, the cylinder full of gourds and candle aren't staying!)

I agree, nothing like a party to make you get your house in order! And your house is SO cute--I love your bedroom. The hutch is gorgeous--even better than the catalog pics you posted now that it is in the setting and is full! :)
