Calling all former brides and trivia lovers!
A friend of ours started a non-profit organization in St. Louis that helps low or no-income brides. Please take a moment to read the information below. They need people to donate wedding dresses and participate in their upcoming trivia night!
"St. Anthony’s Bridal is a non-profit organization that serves brides on tight budgets, low or no income brides, student brides, and so on. It started in the Washington DC/MD area in 2004 and has since loaned out beautiful wedding gowns and reception decor. We help brides pull together the details and whatever it takes to make that special day perfect. Our location here in St. Louis will be opening on October 1st. We are in need of a few things to get started and are throwing a trivia night to help pull it together. Please help us to ensure these brides in need get everything they dream of on their wedding day, and join us for Trivia:

Doors open at 6:30, trivia begins at 7:30 sharp!

Tables of 8 to 10 - $250 per table if postmarked by November 1st
Or pay at the door, $300 per table on November 13th
Don’t have 8-10 people? Send in $25 and we will put a table together for you.
Beer and set-ups provided

What a great idea! I wish I could do the trivia night, but I swear that is the only weekend I have plans, and boy do I have a lot of plans that weekend. :S
Thanks for posting. I am trying to debate whether or not to donate my wedding dress. I am not sure if I am attached to it or not.

Lauren, do you know if the charity will accept bridesmaids dresses? I'm not ready to donate my wedding dress, but I've got a red David's Bridal dress I'd be happy to part with. :)
I'm out for the trivia night, but I'd be all about donating my wedding dress. I've been meaning to for the past year and just haven't bothered to ship it off. I'd love to have somewhere local benefitting from it. Let me know what I need to do! THANKS!

Lauren are you going to the trivia night? If so do you need more people for a table? I would like to go, but I don't feel like putting a table together or sitting with strangers. Also, could I bring my dress to the trivia night?
