Our little calligraphy business is picking up so we decided that adding new options would be a good idea. We also need to come up with names for them. Here they are... (Please note, I am NOT a photographer so the pictures aren't the best.)What do you think?
I think they are FABULOUS!! I like the third one best :) I think you should just make up little kid names for them....like Parker or Claire or Madison or something!
I wish I could write like that. All of them are amazing and so different! Does Mike do freelance graphic design work, say for a photographer that desperately needs help with a logo design??
oh my god they are all STUNNING. you have one talented husband, lauren! if i was trying to pick a style for invites of any kind, that would be a tough tough call.
I think they are all great. I'm super swamped at work right now, so I can't think of names, but I'd be happy to help out later. I just wanted to give you a quick note of caution. As you are starting a business, you need to be careful about respecting your clients' privacy, as well as their guests'. You might want to have your hubs redo these gorgeous styles with fake names and addys to display - I know I wouldn't want my guests' personal information posted on a website. You just never know who's reading and I'd hate to see you guys get in any sort of trouble from it. It's crazy what people get sued for these days, even if there is absolutely zero malicious intent, as in this case. :)
Holy crap! Those are so gorgeous, and professional. I would swear that Mike took calligraphy classes to be that talented. I can't believe how good he is! You guys definitely need a website or something that you can send people to, bc he is just too good for more people not to know about this!
I love them all. Addressing my own invites with pretty calligraphy was one of my favorite parts of the wedding, so I can see why Mike likes it!
I hate to say it, but I was kind of thinking the same thing as Sassy with the names and addys on display. I can vouch for her when she says there are crazies out there who get all bent out of shape for nothing at all...so just be careful!
Jealous of the Dogtown parade....it was always my fave.
Hey, Lauren! It's been a long time! I found your blog through facebook and being a blogger (http://stephanieonthemove.blogspot.com) myself have really enjoyed reading it. Congrats on the wedding!
I just wanted to say this calligraphy is AMAZING! If I am ever in the market I will definitely be contacting you guys!
Hope all is well (it seems like it is beyond good, though)!

WOW!! Mike is so talented, Lauren!! I love all the styles, but my favorite is the second style. I love print calligraphy. Gorgeous!
Your hubby is so talented! Too bad I'm already married, or I'd totally hire him! ;)

I think Mike is mega talented. I suck at writing my own name.
