Emotionally exhausted

On the way home from a funeral in Kentucky, I got the phone call that my aunt Marian wasn't doing well. I was 3 hours from St. Louis and obviously felt helpless. I found out 10 minutes later that she passed away.

I got home at about 10 pm and drove over to where my aunt lived. I stayed with my family and grandma and finally got home around midnight.

When I crawled into bed, Mike told me that his uncle had also passed away that night. What a horrible and exhausting day....

I will definitely be going to sleep early tonight as I have a long weekend ahead.

I'm so sorry, Lauren. I can't imagine dealing with 3 losses in such a short amount of time. You and your family are in my prayers.

Wies - your post brought tears to my eyes. I am so sorry! You are dealing with so much right now. Anything I can do to help? I'll call you later. Love you.

Lauren omg! That is just too much for one person to have to deal with! My thoughts are definitely with you and I hope things improve soon.

I'm so behind on my google reader and I just saw this post. How awful that everything has to happen at once. Hope things are looking up. I'll send prayers your way!
