Ringing in 2009!

I can't believe another year has come and gone. As I get older, I swear the years get shorter and shorter. It really is scary how time flies!

This year, Kate set up NYE for us and booked the upstairs room at Jefferson Avenue Bistro. For a very reasonable price, we had apps, open bar, and midnight breakfast! It was a great deal and we had a great time. At first, we were all a little skeptical and unfortunately, the heat wasn't working. It was actually funny to see all of my friends dolled up but bundled in their coats.

All it took was a few games of flipcup, the dimming of the lights, and some dance music to warm us up!

Here are a few pics... Playing flipcup.Dancing.Spending time with the ladies.Drinking cherry/grape bombs. A lot of them.We ended the night at Kate's house, crammed on her couch (Mike wasn't giving me much room), and trying to sleep. We actually slept pretty late and ended up playing with her doggies. (Which by the way, Mike almost stole her new dog, Chloe.)

Alrighty, I need to grade some papers. I have been off work for a week and a half and I haven't done ANYTHING for school.

How was going back to school for you???? It was nice to get back to the kids, I thought. I love your blog... thanks for the tip about stlwed. There's way more on there for STL brides than the knot.
