Hectic Week!
This week has been totally crazy...and it is only Tuesday!!!
Monday- Well, it was a Monday! Hard to get back into the swing of things and I was totally stressed about report cards and conferences. After school, had to go to a doctor appointment. Then, got home and ran to the cabinet store to make some decisions for the kitchen.
Tuesday- Still stressed about report cards and conferences. I am sitting at school right now until our 7:00 PTO meeting (each grade must have a rep at the meeting). I hope that it doesn't last more than an hour...I am exhausted!
Wednesday- I will probably still stress about report cards and conferences. After school, I will plan next week's lessons with my teammates. Then I will hop over to the high school for cheerleading practice from 5:30-7.
Thursday- FINALLY...conferences. I will sit at a table from 3:15-9:00 (after teaching a whole day) and talk to all of my students' parents. Without dinner or a bathroom break. Seriously? I will get home at 9:30 and get myself all packed up for Friday's after school festivities.
Friday- I will finally breathe now that conferences are over! After school, I will hustle for a quick mani/pedi so I can be at the church for Leslie's rehearsal! I can't believe her wedding is already here. Did it just seem like yesterday when she got engaged? I am singing in her wedding and to say I am nervous is putting it nicely. I am not normally nervous to sing...but with the potential to ruin someone's wedding...um, yea...I am nervous! After the big practice, we are off to her rehearsal dinner. I would love to stay out late and party but I will need some sleep after this crazy week! I want to be all rested for Saturday, Leslie's big day!!!
OK...there's my excuse for my lack of posting. I promise to be back in full effect next week!
Breathe. And take it a day at a time. I'd focus on the good points...like getting a mani and pedi. Damn, I need those badly right now. And a wedding? Even if you are nervous about singing, it's still a wedding! Have fun!
Don't be nervous, you're going to do great! AND, you'll have a ton of fun. Conferences are almost here, and they'll be over before you know it. You'll be fine!
