Pregnancy
...you KNOW something major is going on. I have to admit, I have something pretty major going on!

On September 12th, a couple weeks after I wrote my last post about our 2 year anniversary, we found out that we would be welcoming an addition in May of 2011.

Sooo...let's catch up to now. I am 24 weeks in with 16 weeks to go. I have been feeling great but I'm growing pretty fast now. I have been experiencing difficulties with my cervix since week 18. This has required me to get weekly/bi-weekly cervical checks (ultrasounds) and lots of rest/moderate bedrest. It has been a bit of a damper on the whole experience but there are so many other amazing moment that far outweigh the bad.
I'm not sure if I'm officially back to blogging...and I'm not exactly sure why I stopped for the last 5 months. I started a private blog to document some of my "high-risk pregnancy" details so I don't forget what's going on and Mike have been taking weekly pictures of my belly growth. I was pretty scared to announce my pregnancy to the "internet world"...I think I announced on Facebook at 22 weeks. I am feeling more confident in my situation and have decided that fear is not the route to take for the rest of this pregnancy. It is time for me to celebrate, document, and shop. Seriously...we haven't started the nursery, a registry, and I haven't purchased one thing for our little man. OH YEA, we are having a baby boy!
I guess I have a lot to catch up on. It will take time but I'm pretty sure that I'll start to blog it again. Probably not frequently...and maybe for just me and my family (and the 10 of you that have stuck around). We will see!

Congratulations! Best wishes to you throughout the rest of the pregnancy. :)
You look great! I'm glad your troubles haven't taken much away from all the excitement. I hope things continue to go well! Any ideas for the nursery?
Congrats Lauren and Mike! I'd love to read about your pregnancy experience but also completely understand if you want to keep it private. Either way I wish you a happy and healthy remainder of your pregnancy and birth of your little boy!
Congrats! I'm still here, I liked your blog a lot! Would love it if you continued blogging but understand if you don't. Baby boys are the best, I'm having my second one at the end of April!
Congratulations! I'm glad your blog break was for a very good reason. :)
Congratulations! I first met you through the STLWed website 3 years ago, and have followed your blog ever since. I hope that you will continue to blog and let us know how your pregnancy is going! I hope the rest of your pregnancy is complication free!
Yay! Congratulations!! I missed your blog, but am super excited about what you've been working on ;)
waahoooo, welcome back!
Congratulations!!! I have something strange to tell you - I subbed at your elementary school in Decemeber for the D/HOH kiddos in 1st grade. I saw you in the lounge & couldn't figure out why you looked so familiar. Now that your blog popped back up on my reader, I figured it out! Such a small world. Hope you're enjoying your snow day :)
I'm so glad to see you blogging again! I hope you continue, as I would love to follow your pregnancy, but I'm with you on that fine line between public and private. Either way, I'm glad you've been documenting things so far. It's so nice to have those memories down.
YAY! i was so hoping you would come out of blog hiding! i love that you have been taking pics all along and i'm so proud of you for not focusing on the fear.
Oh my goodness!!! Congratulations!!!!! I am so happy for you guys!
So excited for you both!
Wow, what a great surprise to see in my google reader!!! Congrats to you both, can't wait to see more pictures and hear more stories!!!
Congratulations! Looking forward to future posts, however often you decide to blog and so fabulous photos. :)
Yay, I'm one of the 'ten' here and dying for updates! If you do go private I want an invite, lady. Not fun to have a 'high risk' pg at all and I'll pray all goes well for you the rest of the way. I know all about 'moderate bedrest' sister. Of course mine didn't start until 34 weeks but still.
Hang in there and keep enjoying every day!
PS being a mom to a boy is freaking fantastic. I swear.
Looking good! Congrats again and glad you're back.
Congrats again! Your belly is adorable! I am one of the "lingering 10 followers" and looking forward to more updates!
Congratulations!! I was cleaning out my Reader and stopped when I went to delete you just HOPING that you would come back! Congratulations on the baby boy! We welcomed our baby boy on December 7. It is awesome!!
Thanks for coming back! Blogging is a great way to document and remember your pregnancy. I remember being pregnant like it was yesterday, and here I am planning Nick's 1st birthday party already. I seriously don't know where the time goes. I'm so glad I blogged about my pregnancy, there are so many things I forgot about that come back to me when I read those old posts. Even if you keep it private, write it down so you don't forget. It's such a special time in your life, I hope you're able to enjoy it even though you're high risk. Well not the peeing every 5 mins part...
Welcome back to blogging!!! :)
you are the cutest pregger ever!! i've missed reading your blog, even though i normally lurk! congrats!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS BEAUTIFUL!
