Weekend Review

On Friday night, we tried out a new restaurant that I have to RAVE about...Robust in Webster. It is a wine bar AND a tapas restaurant, so my two favorite things are mixed together at Robust! Seriously, I loved the food at this restaurant and the atmosphere is great. We will definitely be back!Saturday was a blast! I went back to my old place of residence for a good old fashioned crawfish boil. I did NOT partake in the eating of the crawfish and unfortunately we just missed them being cooked (Mike looked forward to photographing that part). We arrived just in time for them to come right out of the pot and here they are...Aren't they gross? All I could think about was little Sebastian!Leslie thought the corn was too spicy and was dying. I decided to stick with the eggrolls.Love these doggie pictures...I have caught the fever...LOVE. THIS. PICTURE. OF MALI! Such a beautiful pup! (Nice work on the photoshop, hunny.)Stevie even stopped by!!!After leaving the crawfish boil, we headed over to Gas House Grill to do some karaoke with my work friends. If you know me then you know that I LOVE karaoke. Seriously love it. I want a karaoke machine for my basement but I am scared that I would sing to myself all day. Since The Little Mermaid was on my brain, I channeled a little bit of Ariel and sang "Part of Your World." I did. In a bar. It was one of my favorite karaoke moments EVER.

I didn't know that Mike loved karaoke as much as I do. He didn't sing as much as rap. His best song was one by Mr. Snoop Doggy Dog.Of course we did group numbers, as well. My favorite? Summer Loving from Grease!I am getting tired thinking about Saturday night. I was exhausted! I am tired now too...good night!
