Something strange happened today...
I don't know if it is the stress, anxiety, lack of sleep, or maybe I caught a bug or something but something terrible happened to me today. I was teaching this afternoon when all of the sudden, I felt lightheaded. My vision got blurry, my legs felt weak, and I felt nauseous. It seriously scared me. Because I am crazy and neurotic, I immediately thought that I was having a brain aneurysm, stroke, or heart attack. I had to sit down and had a kid fill my water bottle. I sat for a while, ate some food, drank some water, but I still felt terrible. After Googling 'brain aneurysm' and 'pulmonary embolism,' I decided to head down to the nurse. Thankfully my kids were actively involved in the game 'latitude and longitude battleship.' She took my blood pressure and it was suddenly higher than usual. She thought that I might be having an anxiety attack. Of course, there are so many reasons that I could feel this way, but I immediately thought that I was going to die. Fast forward a few hours and I still don't feel well. My mom was sick yesterday so we think that we might have a flu bug or something. I am sure that the anxiety and lack of sleep aren't helping!
Oh my gosh!! Talk about scary....take it easy....relax this weekend - you know, amongst the wedding stuff and your garage sale!!
Yikes, that's scary Lauren. I hope you feel better soon. Although I have to admit that I LOL'ed IRL about the fact that you googled brain aneurysm and pulmonary embolism.
Very scary--I hope you feel better soon!
I thought it was funny you Googled that, too. I'm going to go out on a limb here, but if those actually happened to you I don't think you'd be able to Google them. :)
Geez, Lauren! Sounds like you need to de-stress somehow. And no--I don't think you had a stroke:)
