Garage Sale
When I was younger, I would LOVE when my parents held garage sales. I remember them working in the garage, putting price tags on all of our items, and organizing everything into different sections. Mike and I didn't really take the organizing path.
At about 9 PM on Friday night, we started pricing items for our Saturday garage sale. We finished working at about midnight and woke up the next morning at 7.
The street was already full of ready buyers and driveways full of tables, racks, and rows of goods! Here is our little garage/driveway sale...
Look at the cute little salesman :)
Our goal was to sell as much as we could and make at least $30. We made $30 by 9:00 am! Our ending total was $95 and we would say that our first garage sale was a success! We got rid of all of Mike's old pots and pans, plates, silverware, and glasses. Seriously, it really amazes me how people buy other peoples' old crap. Especially when it is crappy crap! But I guess the saying is true, "One man's trash is another man's treasure!"
