D-Day
Today is the day. Today, I started Weight Watchers. I stepped on that horrible scale and saw a number that I have NEVER seen before. A number that was 7 pounds above my "NEVER AGAIN" weight. Only 3 pounds under my "It's time to jump of a bridge" weight. Awesome.
We rounded up a more than 15 people at work so a Weight Watchers leader comes to us and leads our meeting from my school. I had absolutely no excuse to not participate. I am hoping that by taking this seriously, keeping track of my points, and starting my training for the marathon relay, I will lose at least 10 pounds in the next 13 weeks. Wish me luck!
Also, please comment on this post to help me keep track of my Haiti donation amount. Thank you so much to those that commented but 26 was a little weak!!!
Good luck, lady. You'll do great! We should take the dogs out together on the weekends for long walks, too!
You can do it, Lauren! I did WW last year, and it helped me drop 15 pounds. Plus, it really helped me realize what portions should be, so I can easily slip back into following the system when I need to (like, ahem, right now).
how awesome that the meetings come to you! i know you can do this, so best of luck!
(and believe me, i know what you feel - that horrifying, sinking feeling of stepping on the scale. ugh!)
WW at work is the best program! We are currently doing a biggest loser competition among my unit at work. It's so much easier when people around you are doing the same thing you are! Good Luck, I know you can do it!
Don't jump!
Trust me, I know where you are. And I know you can do this. I think you looked great at the ornament exchange, but I know that doesn't help if you don't feel good about yourself. Just know that you're a total knockout no matter what.
And how cool that you get meetings at work. I think if I didn't have to travel, I'd probably officially join WW, too. I think you'll be really successful!
You can do it, Lauren! You will have such a great support system since so many people at work will be participating too. From what I hear, WW really works for people who follow the plan. Good luck!
I haven't seen you, but you look beautiful in your pictures. How exciting to read your progress, I can't wait. I fully plan on joining after baby #2 is done being breastfed if I am having trouble getting rid of those last few pounds. Good luck, I know you'll do great!
You can do it! I've done WW at least 50 times in my life and it has ALWAYS worked for me. I find it easy to follow and I like that it makes me feel in control of my eating. I don't think you're overweight but hey, it's what we feel inside and I totally get that. You can do it girl!
You can do it, girl. Just save up lots of points for Columbia!
