An unwelcome visitor!

This morning at about 8:30, I was relaxing with Mia when I heard something fall in the other room. Of course, my mind thought, "A killer is in the other room. Oh my gosh...what do I do?" I slowly walked into the sunroom to see what fell. On the floor was a can of Mia's Kong Stuffing and on the shelf was this little guy...
He stayed so still so I ran for my camera. After I took this picture, I tried to catch him and that didn't work too well. I had him trapped by the door which was wide open for him to escape but instead he decided to run into my basement. Awesome. We have a new roommate. I don't know what to do!?!?
Shut the basement door and wait for your hubby to come home. That's what I'd do! :)
I agree. I would shut the door, trap him and wait for husband!
Aww..it's so cute! It could have rabies, so I would also wait till your hubby gets home! Or you could call animal control.
Is that a chipmunk? He sure is cute, but I wouldn't want him in my house either! My question would be how they heck did he get IN! Call critter control, they'll prob be able to trap him and then release him into the wild blue yonder.
dude, please tell me that is a chipmunk and not a mouse with a stripe on it. Mice = not cool and totally disgusting. Chip = sorta okay.

Thanks for the message! :) I love your chipmunk picture (I can't believe he stayed so still!) My husband and I have had squirrel issues in our attic and we just keep the pull down door shut and call a professional ASAP. :)
