I hate shoes...

It is official! Wedding shoes are ruining my life. OK...maybe that is a little too dramatic for a Tuesday afternoon but they are a pain in my rear! I have been on the search for silver shoes for my bridesmaids. I don't want to break the bank, I want them to be cute and strappy...am I asking too much?! I thought I found the perfect shoes last week on Amazon. They are Nine West, $40, and perfect...I got all of my bridesmaids sizes and ordered them and was so excited for their arrival. Fast forward to today...they are here. And WTF...sequins? Dear Amazon, Please do not post pictures on your website of shoes that do not match the actual product. Also, please don't be angry when I return over $200 of shoes that I would rather shoot myself than see my bridesmaids wear. Thank you, Lauren

As most of you know, I have been having a hard time finding bridal shoes for myself. I decided today that I am stressing too much, I am NOT going to find the perfect shoes, and if I do...it will NOT be in my budget. Hello David's Bridal. I am just going to go for it and get one of these shoes. They are $55 and I can dye them afterwards. Seems like a no-brainer to me!Just FYI, I would remove the pearl clip on the shoes to the left. I would wear them plain or add a different shoe clip. What do you think?!

Oh my god... you poor thing!
But, I think those are the same shoes on Amazon. Look real close at the Amazon pic. and you can see the texture/pattern in them... uck. What a deceiving picture, Amazon!!! Sorry, the worst disappointment is when you're excited to get something, and it doesn't turn out to be as good as you expected.

I am going to post all of my comments on your posts here:

1. Just have your girls wear whatever silver shoes they can find. They don't have to match, do they? My girls all found silver ones from different places, different prices and they looked great. I think a few even found some at Target.

2. Love the invites!

3. Damn fans! And we got our furniture at Weekends Only and I love it all. We definitely don't have a 40 inch TV but if we did Nate would label us 'pimps', too.

What a bummer about the Amazon shoes... the original ones were SO cute! I agree with Julia though, I don't think it matters if the BM's have the same shoes or not... as long as they are similar.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the David's shoes on the right, and I think I would equally love the shoe on the left if you take off the clip! Good choices! I just love d'orsay style heels!

LOL! That sucks about the Amazon shoes. Like you said, WTF?!

As far as your shoes, I LOVE the ones on the left. Love them!!

Oh, and thank you for not making me wear sequined shoes. YOu know how I feel about glitter! I love you! See you tomorrow night!

Okay, that picture on the Amazon site was totally deceiving. That would have seriously pissed me off too.

My wedding shoes are the style on the right and I love them. I like both of your choices, though, so you can't go wrong!

I found some similar shoes at Dillard's. They're Naturalizer - the style is Prissy. Unfortunately, they don't have them at the Naturalizer store, but you can view them on the Dillard's site. Good luck!

Hi Lauren,
I randomly came across your website while searching the web for black tuxes and green ties. I'm getting married in the fall and I'm having the same dilemma. Do you think the black vest and green tie works together? What are you doing?
