So I need some help. I need to start a blog with our calligraphy information and I want the set-up that Julia, Angie, and Kristal have. I want tabs at the top like that have that will say "Information, Samples, Prices, Blog, blablabla). I want to be able to upload large pictures and I am having a hard time figuring out how to do this.
Anyone want to do this for me? Or talk me through it? Angie tried but it just seems so complicated? Hummm....
My blog template, and I think Julia's too, is not a blogspot template. It's actually one from this site:

The name of my particular template is Photoblog II.
You need to go to the Blogspot dashboard, click on Layout, then click Edit HTML. Enter the code for your template into there and you should be good to go. From there, you can edit the picture in your header, what exactly your links say, etc. Try it out and if you have any specific questions, shoot me an email!
Mine isn't exactly the same as theirs, but pretty close. I wanted the side bars so I chose a different template and played with the widths in the HTML until I got it wide enough for my pictures.

A lot of their templates include the tabs at the top and you can choose a template that allows you to put large pictures in a center column.

If you upload your pics into photobucket or something similar, you can choose what size you want to make them, so they're big on your blog.

I second what Kristal said. It's actually really easy. Go to www.ourblogtemplates.com, pick a photo blog style, click to get the code, and then do what Kristal said about adding the code on the layout page. You can shoot me an email also if you need help or pm me on the board. I hope you get it!
yeah, I got my blog template from the same place. I swear it isn't hard at all, you can do it! Or else, I'm sure Mike can:)
i can definitely help you put it together if you'd like, lauren. i'm sure mike has the design portion of it down, but if the code part is confusing to both of you, why not let a web designer help? ;) shoot me a comment on my blog or on the board if you want!
