Virtual Weigh-In
I just got this idea from Jen's blog. She has been losing weight and has been reporting about it on her blog. Now, I have NOT been losing weight...actually I have been doing the opposite! Who gains weight with 32 days before her wedding? Seriously?
SOOOO...I am supposed to lose 5 lbs by next Friday, 8th. Let's get real...it probably isn't going to happen. BUT...if I am required to post it on the Internet for all to read then maybe it will inspire me. But maybe not. I then need to lose another lbs by my wedding day, August 31st. Do you think it is possible to lose 10 lbs in 5 weeks?
Here are my solutions and goals:
First off....I need to get my tush to the gym!
I will NOT eat fast food until after the wedding.
I am not going to drink alcohol until the wedding weekend (I really don't know if I can do this one but I am going to try.)
I am going to try to eat only brown carbs (bread, rice...).
Wish me luck! I just really want my dress to zip!!!
Lauren, I know you can do it! Just stick to your goals and keep a positive attiude!
I did the same damn thing! lol. BUT I got so busy the last few weeks, i ended up loosing weight anyway. plus, the stress helped :) good luck, your fi will think your look purty either way!

Lauren, I did the same thing! I gained a good five pounds when I wanted to LOSE five pounds before the wedding. And now I've gained another five. I'm working on it, and you're right--maybe posting will motivate me!
Just stick with your plan and you'll do great! I would allow yourself a glass of wine every now and again. It's healthy!

I know how you feel! I'm a stress eater so I definitely gained weight before the wedding. Your goals sound great!

You can totally do it!!! Accountability is honestly such a motivator for me, so knowing all of you will see my progress is helping me stay on track.
Just stick to your plan - and try not to completely deny yourself the foods (or alcohol) that you love. Everything in moderation, right ;)
