Tux Questions...

Wedding
So, most of our wedding planning is finished. Honestly, I haven't done ANYTHING in a while! However, something that we did do recently was pick out the guys tuxes. We decided on Men's Warehouse and a 2-button jacket and a satin vest. We are going to purchase the groomsmen green ties that match the bridesmaid dresses. Our fathers and ushers will wear a black tie and Mike will wear all white. Here is what he did in photoshop...
What do you think? We don't really like the look of colored vests but does it look strange with a colored tie and black vest? Do most guys wear satin vests? Help a girl out...

I say that if you are going to buy the GM ties, forgo the vest as well. We were going to do that but in reality, the tux rental includes both a tie and vest and I hated to buy them something that came with the rental anyway.
You don't have to do vests at all. But they do come with the MW tuxes. Mike could wear a nice cream colored tie if you wanted.

we were just able to cross this off our list also...and we have the same color scheme as you! The guys actually bought black suits at jcpenney this weekend and we bought their ties there also. They are apple green and they are online right now for $17 including a pocket square!
I don't think the black vest looks bad with the green tie though. If you still aren't digging it though, I agree with Julia, and say forego the vest.
Matt wanted to do black vests with a red tie for the GMs, but we ended up going with red for both. I like both looks!
I agree with Julia. We thought about buying the guys ties, but they had a color that matched the bridesmaids and couldn't really justify buying them when they come with the rental.
But, I do think the black vests look fine. Rob and I almost went that route but changed our minds at the last minute.
Do whatever you want! It will look great!
I like the green ties to match the BM dresses with black vests - looking good! :)
