How annoying!!!

So yesterday evening, my mom and I were hanging out in my room after getting home from the bridal show at America's Center. We were trying to figure out how to kill an hour before dinner our with my family. I had just been to Walmart and I bought a little bag of bows for Christmas gift wrapping. It probably weighs a couple of ounces...pretty much a bag of air! Mike came over and I asked him to please toss the bows to the top of my closet where my other gift wrap is located. Less than 30 seconds after he puts them up top, my closet rack starts to tilt. Then...everything falls. The top rack falls on the next rack, that pulls out of the wall, then all of my clothes fall on my shoes. First of all, I have WAY to many articles of clothing...I know that. But seeing everything sitting at the bottom of my closet really put it all into perspective. Mike, my mom, and I just stood there, staring, wide-eyed, and speechless at what we just watched. I had to pile all of my clothes on my bed, creating a 3 foot pile (see picture). So we went out to dinner and my roommate worked on the closet. But we got home and everything looked the same....he needs to get to Home Depot for some new supplies. So I moved all of the clothes to the kitchen table and couches...my house looks crazy. So fixing the closet is the goal for the night! HOW ANNOYING!!!

That totally sucks. After our move I downsized my closet by about half. I just couldn't handle the stupid hangers full of junk that I never wore. And let me tell you, it feels so good to have a smaller, quality closet. Now when we move again the hangers won't stress me out as much:)

In all honesty, it's kind of a humorous situation...and maybe a good reason to feel generous toward Goodwill? (Or if you want to give away some shoes, I might be in the market!)

It sucks that it happened, but that'll just be another fun story you can tell later on.
